Skating

The last two weeks we skated a lot on the ice ring. Frequently we used to visit the ice ring in Glanerbrug at night with several friends. We used to leave home around 7 o’clock and around ten o’clock the ice ring would close again. On the internet we could find information on the opening hours of the ice ring which was very easy. On Saturday night there was a disco. We got to know many other young people at the ice ring that use to come every day as well. It was always very nice. The track was not always of very good quality but the firemen used to cover the track with water at night to make the ice smooth again. Saturday we had to leave the ring at 9 o’clock because the championships of the ice club from Losser were taking place. Our neighbour won the first place. On Sunday night we could skate on very smooth ice, that was very nice. Today the temperature dropped and for that reason the ice ring had to close again. I hope that next week it will start freezing and that we will be able to skate again.

Snowboarden

My friends and me are going to snowboarden on Bottrop on the 2 January. We going with the car to Bottrop on 09.00 hour. on 11.30 hour we on the snowhall. Ther was a lot of people. this is my first time on the snowboard. We going downstairs with the snowboard. It was fantastic. We fell frequently on the snowboard. But later on going better. My friends used to snowboard before. We were with 4 girls and 2 boys. The boys knew how to snowboarding very well and helped us getting up after falling. One friend and I never snowboarding before and were happy to be able to make a curve. We used to fall on our knees and buts all the time. Which was very painful. We also eated and drinked some as that was included in the price. We have glided down for approximately 8 times. We walked up a few times because the elevator going up was very busy. We went home around 17:30 and already felt asleep in the car. The day after we still had bruises and thick knees. But anyway it had been a very nice day.

New year

My family is going to visit my grand-father, grand-mother and my uncle on the 1st of January.
We wish each other a happy new year. In the evening my friends and I went skating on the ice ring. it was very nice. after that my friends and I went to my home and everybody was sleeping in my bedroom.
